So really not that much happened since I talked to you all last. I love you all so much and I was so happy we got to skype! Hermana Alcantara and I work really well together so I am really happy. We just go go go all day and its a lot of fun. Also, she is the nicest person in the whole world. I definitely got lucky to have her a as a companion. I am learning a lot from her. So Hermana Safeer came back with a new companion who is great. Thursday we visited Ev who's baptism is THIS week. Oh my we are so excited! She is so smart and mature it's crazy. I hope one day you get to meet her.

The District

So these last couple of weeks we have had to quitar (stop teaching) a lot of our investigators because they weren't progressing which is always kind of sad. We aren't really getting references anymore so have been contacting to enter. Which means we go to a house and teach a lesson. Its pretty effective and we have a lot of new investigators so we are pretty happy about that. There is this one investigator named Bel, who was taught by the elders who knows the BOM like the back of her hand. It's really crazy actually. She can tell you about any story in the ldm with details and names. She's pretty great. We also have this new investigator named Le. He has been at church ever since I got here so I thought he was an investigator but he's actually not. Wooohoo! His baptism is in 2 weeks so we are pretty excited.

Friday night was the branch talent show which was SO fun. We have a really great branch. All the jovenes (Young Women) sang and danced. But, one girl got up and sang a song that said "yo esoy desnudo y te amo" (I'm naked and I love You) over and over again and then she pulled a boy up onto the stage and then dedicated the song to him... awkward. But the rest was really great. Saturday great as well. Normal, citas (teaching), contacting, all that jazz. Sunday, a new investigator came to church AND STAYED ALL THREE HOURS. Okay, miracle, because that almost never happens. I think she is legit everyone. We are pretty excited. Last night we stayed up late working on a puzzle hermana Safeer got for Christmas. Puzzles get way more fun when you are here

and don't have light at night. Thanks SO MUCH for all the presents. I was going to wait for hermana Hernandez to get home but I didn't. I love all the clothes and shoes and the headlamp. I use my headlamp all the time, super handy. Also, I love the book. Shed a tear or two. Also, the other girls love looking at it too. Thanks to everyone in the ward and outside the ward for all the Christmas cards, you guys are all so sweet! Sass, I LOVE the ring you sent me. Funny that I sent you a blue ring too! But the ring you sent is cuter by far. I love you all sooo much. Happy new year!
