Barguada

So I second sass' letter.   Skyping you guys was LO MAXIMO, and ya Davis didn't talk at all. What's up with that Puppy Rush? Also my comp said the same about mom... haha how funny but it's so true. Love you mom!

So this week was great.  Remember that investigator that called us out of the blue for a cita and started reading the book of Mormon?  Well, we went back this week and she is finishing second nefi and she is so excited to keep reading. We were seriously so surprised and happy because that never happens.  Miracles in every day I tell you. This week Hermana Dawe wrote me and talked about "blooming where you are planted".  I love that! Sometimes life isn't easy but God is aware of us and gives us opportunidades to learn and grow and have faith.  He knows us perfectly and will never give us a trial we can't handle.

This week we had, what the Dominicans say, a barguada, which I guess is just like a realllly long rain storm. It's like a surprise everyday because we wake up every morning and the sky is blue.  By two its raining and by eight its really cold and still raining.  Which is definitely not what I was expecting for a Dominican summer.  It's really fun but it makes it super hard to contact people in the park because of the fact that they are all in their houses.  Also, good news, Elder Cornish told the whole ward he got permission to feed us and we now how 6 lunch and dinner appointments!!!!!  (Their mission isn't typically allowed to eat with members) God loves the missionaries in Piantini. Anyway I love you all and hope you have a great week!
