World Cup is Over!

This week... WORLD CUP! It's the worst thing that happened to missionary work. This country isn't even a soccer country. Most of them don't even know a thing about soccer but when it comes times for the world cup, they all put up flags and paint their nails and all they do is watch the world cup and they definitely don't want to listen to a message about Jesus. Yesterday we were contacting and they were glued to the tv and when we said we were missionaries they laughed and slammed the door. Pretty typical but at least it’s over. Go Germany… that's who the Piantini house was rooting for (Her house).

They haven't used a Mac in 16 months and they are taking advantage of it.

Well W. is doing great. Every time we share something new she is super excited about it. Last night we shared about prophets and she we so amazed and excited. We love her! Yanilka’s kids are on vacation so they went to the campo AGAIN. noo. Her fecha is going to fall which is sad but we still have hope. We had to do a lot of contacting this week and we contacted these men named L. and L.  They are two recently divorced friends sharing an apartment looking for God. They worship saints but we are hoping to change that. We have also contacted about 5 million catholic women this week. Or better said, we contacted their doors. We did have a lesson with one woman but halfway through we realized she definitely has Alzheimers. She asked my companion like 6 times where she was from. 

Thursday the elders called and and asked us to start looking for a house for only 2 hermanas which means president is taking 2 hermanas out. We are all super bummed because we love our house and us 4 have been having such a great time together. But we did take the opportunity to house hunt in a couple of towers that are super fancy and probably a million dollars. But it was fun. Nothing super new this week... sorry. We did contact a man who was the ambassador in the U.S. for a long time and is friends with jw marriot. We didn't have a lot of time to chat but we gave him a card with our number and we are praying super hard for him to call us because he was super cool. M. and R. get married this week. yayy!  We are so excited!!!!!!! Also, Elder C. gets back this week so we are pretty stoked. Anyway, love you all and have a great week! Hermana Madison Rush
