Hey Everyone!
So this week was great of course. Hot, of course. Tuesday we went out with this great member named M. I was nervous at first but I don't know why because she knew exactly what to do and was awesome. In lessons she referred to us as her companions and it was super cute. Also, our district leader broke his foot because he tripped on the ground... bummer.

Wednesday we went out to teach M, the old man, whose name is actually A. These people all have like 6 names so we are always a little bit confused. So now I have just learned to mumble when I say names so it's not super embarrassing if I get it wrong. The members that he lives with are the funniest people ever. This week they had improved their gazebo by putting seats from a car in their real seats because its more "comodo". I found out the wife of the family has breast cancer and had to have a masectomy. How do we know? She showed us! So Dominican to just flash someone your chest. But the lesson was great and M finally got glasses so he can start reading the ldm. Also the wife gifted hermana Huish a really sweet shirt and she gave me a mango. I am pretty sure I got the better end of the deal. Then we had the cutest lesson with the girls who went to conference with us.

Thursday we went and taught G which was THE BEST. He is the one that is deaf and mute. We drew all these pictures and he actually understood. Lessons with him are long and kind of frustrating but it is SO rewarding to see him understand and feel the spirit. He is such a special person. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to teach him! So later we had a really difficult lesson and then it started raining super hard and our leaders called and said we had to go home. All the streets were flooded, it was super crazy! So we weekly planned, made hot chocolate, popcorn, concon and cookies. We are going to be huge. Then we listened to church music and then tried to remember what music was popular before we left but I seriously couldn't remember anything. I am losing it! Then we had holding breath contests because we were bored and because we didn't have light so we didn't have anything else to do.

Friday we had a zone meeting in Azua so we took a GuaGua like usual except that it was SO fast. We were sitting in the back and it was like on a roller coaster when the wind makes your face funny because its going super fast. Later we met G's brother who just got home from a mission and is super funny because he is still in missionary mode. He kept asking us if the members were giving us references and who we were teaching. Then we had a lesson with the cute girls again. The 10 year old had read the entire folleto we gave her... twice. She explained to us in her own words and with analogies about albedrio, jose smith, the gran apostasy, the first vision, sacerdocio and prohets. Umm, that never happens. It's really too bad she is only ten. But she really wants to get baptized so it's going to happen.
Sunday most of our people showed up to church plus a new one named A. She is the one whose husband has the book of Mormon app on his phone. We were so excited! Sunday we were contacting and we contacted a crazy Evangelical. She ranted and was in hysterics for 15 minutes before we walked away. We also accidentally contacted testigo missionaries. oops! We ran away super fast because testigos are scary here. Also Sunday we found out the other hermanas have this investigator who is super awesome and getting baptized who is actually in our area... and they new the whole time! But it's fine I guess because we have 3 baptisms in the next two weeks. woohoo! O is FINALLY getting baptized this week. We are so excited! Also this week we have interviews and Sunday is transfer calls. I seriously cannot believe hermana Huish and I have been together for 6 weeks already! I really hope we get to stay together! The kid sitting next to me at the computers just tried to give me a carton of milk...nice but weird. Love, Hermana Rush
